See That Moment: Revisit Time Through Photos and Screen Activity
After a period ends, you may remember how long it took but not what was happening around it.
See That Moment reconnects a time record with nearby photos, videos, and Screen Time context. You do not need to interrupt an experience to write every detail. When you return later, these real clues can help bring the moment back.
Let Photos Preserve the Context
Section titled “Let Photos Preserve the Context”During an event, a walk, or time with family, a few casual photos may be all you capture. See That Moment arranges photos and videos taken around the record so the sequence is easier to revisit.
Where you went, what you saw, and how an event unfolded may already be present in the photo timestamps and content.
See Where Your Attention Went
Section titled “See Where Your Attention Went”After work or study, Screen Time context can show which apps appeared during the record, together with their durations and share of the period.
It does not judge whether you were focused. It simply returns those clues to their original time so you can interpret them yourself.
How to Open See That Moment
Section titled “How to Open See That Moment”Use either entry on a time card:
- Swipe left on the time card, then tap See That Moment.
- Open the menu from the ··· button at the bottom-right of the card, then choose See That Moment.
Shown Only When You Open It
Section titled “Shown Only When You Open It”See That Moment keeps clear boundaries around photos and Screen Time information:
- Photos and videos are read for the selected time range only after you deliberately open the view.
- Library content is not written to the time record, edited, deleted, or uploaded.
- Screen activity comes from Apple’s system-provided, read-only report. Knoself does not monitor app use in the background.
- Screen activity details are not written to the time record or uploaded.
You can revoke Photos or Screen Time permission at any time in system settings.
Include Mac Screen Activity
Section titled “Include Mac Screen Activity”To include Mac activity in the iPhone report, enable System Settings → Screen Time → Share Across Devices on the Mac. System syncing may take a little time after it is enabled.
Revisit That Time
Section titled “Revisit That Time”See That Moment is useful for events, walks, work, study, and any experience you do not want to interrupt with constant note-taking.
