Daily Highlights and Review

A record becomes more useful when you can return to it. Knoself offers two complementary paths: Daily Highlights for a gentle revisit, and period reviews for understanding patterns across days, weeks, or months.

  1. Open Daily Highlights from the side panel.
  2. Browse the past records selected for today.
  3. Tap Add a thought when you want to capture what you understand now.
  4. The new reflection joins the thought trail without replacing the original record.

Revisit a past record and add what you understand today whenever you feel like writing.

You can exclude tags that should not appear again. Exclusion only changes Daily Highlights selection; it does not delete the original time records.

Choose a date range on the Review page to explore:

  • Time and tag breakdowns.
  • 24-hour distribution and productive hours.
  • A yearly activity heatmap.
  • Task completion and actual effort.
  • The time cards behind each chart.

Starting with one question usually produces a clearer result, such as “Am I better at deep work in the morning?” or “How much of my planned exercise actually happened?”

Choosing Three Good Things, KPT, or 4P review methods in Knoself before sending to an AI app
Choose the scope and review method, inspect the prepared content, then send it to your preferred third-party AI app.
  1. Tap Ask AI on the Review page.
  2. Choose the records, tags, tasks, and health data to include.
  3. Select Three Good Things, Deep Reflection, KPT, 4P, or a custom method.
  4. Preview and remove anything you do not want to share.
  5. Send it to the third-party AI app you choose.

Knoself does not generate the conclusion inside the app. Once shared, content is handled under the selected AI service’s rules. Remove sensitive addresses, identifiers, financial data, or health details before sharing, and verify generated results yourself.

  • Daily: read one card in Daily Highlights and write only when you feel like it.
  • Weekly: check time breakdown and task effort once.
  • Monthly: choose one question and explore it with charts or one review framework.

Review should not become another obligation. Open it when you genuinely want to understand a part of your life.
